This role involves handling inventory, following safety protocols, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Order Picking: Locate and select items from shelves or bins based on order slips or digital systems. Packing: Pack products securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit. Labeling and Documentation: Label packages correctly with shipping details, invoices, or barcodes as required. Quality Check: Inspect items for damage or discrepancies before packing and report any issues. Inventory Management: Assist in stock counting, replenishment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work area by following warehouse safety guidelines. Use of Tools and Equipment: Operate handheld scanners, trolleys, or pallet jacks as necessary. Skills and Qualifications: Basic literacy and numeracy skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift and move heavy packages (as required) Good organizational and time-management skills Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory systems Team player with a positive attitude Prior experience in warehousing/logistics (preferred but not always required) Work Environment: Physically demanding: involves standing, walking, lifting Work in varying temperatures depending on the warehouse type May involve shift work, weekends, or overtime during peak seasons
